With the lap bar down I can raise and tilt the bucket but it won't move. With the lap bar up, I can move the bobcat but the raise and tilt controls won't work. I am guessing it is the safety switch on the lap bar, which is located on the left mounting area for the bar.

As I push the bar up there's two triangle pieces of metal on each side with a spring and when it passes that you hear a loud click. At that point it should stay up but it doesn't. Are these Bobcat Lap Bars adjustable? Too provide more room under the bar? Say if the operator was on the heavy side and needed more room, still allowing engagement of the controls.
