So I've got a trailer that sits 30" off the ground and I have a mini skid steer, a ditch witch sk350. Weighs 1,660 pounds. Trailer is 10 feet long--so I plan on building the ramp that long--I'd go longer if I could as the machine does not have the best center of gravity.
I'd like to have a set of service ramps to park my skid steer on. Right now I've got a small leak and the skid plate removed for inspection but it's a huge pain (and slow) to jack the rear up and crib. Also the mound of stuff like dirt or forage will slough off next to the mixer and likely get stuck with skid steer jammed into mixer and not able to back away. Build a proper ramp or get a wheel loader. Even a farm tractor and loader is better than a skid steer for loading a mixer.
I'm going to create 2 ramps at the front of truck deck and drive rear tracks up onto them. Then lift what remains of the machines tracks off the ground using the bucket resting on a wedge atback of truck the height of loading ramps.
Instead of building long loading ramps, I added a dovetail to my trailer and built some ramps with flip-over brackets and adjustable width. Work great for loading the tractor.

#1. Post your homemade attachments. Built a crane for my skid steer. Machine is rated around 2500 lbs load, 5000 lbs tipping. Mast is three stage telescopic. Has a lifting eye at the tip for slings, or can be used with a winch with the pulley at the tip. Considering building a boom to use with a skid loader. Not something I would use a lot but would be handy to have. Thinking main boom of 8 or 10 feet telescoping to 12 or 15 feet.
