For doing dirt work though it is amazing. Anyone who has ran a skid steer much knows you eat dirt with an open cab because of how close the bucket is to the seat. With a cab you stay clean. I noticed during rainy days, the cab would get wet due to condensation/water drops building up on the roof window from inside the cab and dripping down. I replaced the roof window trim with an OEM trim kit as well as the screws/knobs hardware. If you figure in your time, effort, and materials to do your own cab, you are better off getting a cab, in my opinion. If you want to save a few bucks, find one with the AC not working and fix the heat.
