I am comfortable evaluating the undercarraige and updating that if needed, but have no experience on other systems of big excavators. I am not hung up on brands, but appreciate any thoughts on this forum of the brands that are built well and last, and what to expect if I go down this road.

It made me a lot of money, but it was small and only weighed about 7500 pounds. Just a little background on myself, I started operating excavators about 40 years ago. Been on a lot of different brands and sizes. I've had two rubber tire TLB's in the past, but now have four 70-90HP 4WD tractors with loaders. I'm wanting a crawler excavator to use on my farm. I’d like to hear some facts and or opinions on mini excavators. I’m interested in a used machine in the 10,000 to 12,000 pound range. Bobcat, John Deere or Kubota are carried by local dealers but no used ones on the lot. It would be used for conservation work and repair.
