We have ClawDaddys on one skid steer and McLaren airless on the other. The McLarens function sort-of OK in dirt, the Clawdaddys are useless once you get off concrete. I recently learned of these two new sizes now available in the Versa-turf from Carlisle. I had them installed on my OE R4 rims and had the fluid ballast transfers into the new tires from the R4s . Here is some pics of the before and after and side by side comparisons . They actually run out very smooth with few weights. They were on it when I purchased the truck. I've got a set of Carlisle's on my skid which have worked fine. I'll have to check where the country of origin. They're a US company but worldwide reach. If you have a farm & barn type store in your area, they probably sell Carlisle tires. Galaxy Hulk L-5. Had Solideal's on the Deere 328D when it was new and they lasted 1500 hours (3 years). Replaced with another set and got about 1200 hours on them at 9 per tire. I think the Galaxy Hulk's were 5 and they show little wear after two years. well I ended up going with a middle of the road set of tires, I got 4 Carlisle Guard Dog tires, 12 ply, and just under an inch of tread depth, 0.00, little more than the cheaper one's but more than twice the tread depth and think overall a better tire, so, will see how they do in the mud NOW have a few other issues to get resolved with . Haven't tried the muddy buddy but run the galaxy beefy baby tires. Which tires to buy depends on what conditions you're in. On hard surfaces the severe duty industrial tread holds up well but suck in mud. What is the best wearing tire out there for skid steers? I stay in the dirt all the time and my tires wear out to fast. Could it be because they are from China?
